Hotel Doria Amsterdam, Amsterdam

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Amsterdam, offering easy access to local attractions and a vibrant atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and face a quiet back alley, but the bathroom is quite basic. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the breakfast selection is fantastic, with a transformation into an Italian restaurant during the day for a constant supply of delightful treats. However, the room wasn't made up upon my late return, and it wasn't ready as promised earlier.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was superb, just a stone's throw from Central Station and within walking distance of many central Amsterdam attractions. The rooms, though clean, had some quirks like beds that slid around and overlooked a busy alleyway. The service was friendly and helpful, with a nice touch of assisting with ticket downloads.
